We carry a wide selection of tough, heavy-duty Transport Chains that can be used to secure the heavy loads for transportation, such as farming or construction equipment. Sometimes web tie down assemblies ...
just don’t cut it without getting cut in the process. For those kinds of overly abrasive loads, you need the tough strength of Kinedyne’s Chains to handle the heavy-duty jobs.
Built for durability, these heat-treated carbon steel chains are available in two different grades for different load securement applications. Typically, for the general tie down jobs, you’ll want the Grade 30 Chain; for the more heavy-duty jobs, you’ll want the Grade 70 Chain. Each has their own advantages, and the Grade 70 Chains come in a variety of different sizes and options with different working load limits.
The pre-cut options of our chains are already equipped with a pair of our industrial strength and extremely durable Clevis Grab Hooks. These hooks are designed to easily latch onto the anchor point, and they retain a strong and reliable hold while the load is being tightened. They work together with the chain and the Chain Binder to offer optimal security for your cargo.
All Kinedyne Chains are engineered and manufactured to meet the recommendations set forth by the National Association of Chain Manufacturers (NACM). As per these recommendations, our chains are embossed with the manufacturer’s identification mark as well as 30 to identify it as Grade 30 or a 70 to identify it as Grade 70. These chains must not be used for overhead lifting.
Transport Chain 101 is part of the Kinedyne Education Series of introductory videos created by Kinedyne LLC. This series of videos is designed to teach the basics of cargo securement products: what they are, what they are used for, and how to choose the right tools for the job and more.
